Documentary Films

In 2019, the founding team travelled across rural Uttarakhand as documentary filmmakers. Yuvaan – The Voice of Youth captured the hopes and struggles of young people in the mountains and asked a deeper question: how can communities build opportunity where they live? The film became the starting point of Hashtag Believer Foundation’s people-driven work — connecting storytelling with research, education, youth leadership, and rural innovation.

Through documentaries, digital media, creative workshops, and youth engagement, we promote Uttarakhand’s folk traditions, local artists, theatre, and traditional art forms such as Aipan — while nurturing regional cinema and creative entrepreneurship. In the long term, we envision supporting a vibrant creative ecosystem in Uttarakhand, including opportunities for local filmmakers, artists, and sustainable cultural tourism.
